Our Fees & Policies
Understanding fees and policies upfront can make reaching out for support feel less stressful. Below you’ll find clear information about session costs, payment, and other policies so you can feel informed and confident.
Session Fees & Options

Virtual/In-Person Counselling Session – $150/50-minute session

Couples - $180/50-minute session

Walk & Talk Therapy (available in Mission only) – $150/50-minute session
At Hemlock & Haven Therapy, we want you to feel at ease with the therapist you choose. That’s why we offer a free 15-minute virtual consultation — a no-pressure opportunity to ask questions and explore whether we’re the right fit for you.
Please note we do require a credit card to be kept on file.
Currently, we are offering virtual, in-person & walk and talk sessions.
In-person sessions are offered in Abbotsford at 34334 Forrest Terrace Road, Abbotsford, V2S 1G7.
Walk & Talk Therapy takes place outdoors in a public space within Mission, BC.
We currently do not direct‑bill to insurance; clients will be provided a receipt for reimbursement.
Booking & Platform
Appointments are booked through the Jane App by clicking “Book Appointment.” Jane meets all Canadian privacy and security standards, including PHIPA, PIPEDA, and PIPA compliance.
Ethical Considerations
To ensure all clients receive fully independent and confidential support, I do not provide counselling to anyone directly supervised by or closely connected to my family members who work in first responder services. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to clarify any potential conflicts before scheduling.
Cancellation & Missed Appointments
Your session time is held just for you, and we deeply value your commitment to the therapeutic process.
As a courtesy to both your practitioner and fellow clients, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or appointment changes. This allows us the opportunity to offer the time to someone else in need.
Please make any cancellations or changes directly through the Jane App to ensure your therapist is promptly notified.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) will be subject to an $80 fee.

Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged the full session fee, automatically billed to the credit card on file.
You can opt to receive appointment reminders through Jane to help you stay on track.
At Hemlock & Haven Therapy, We understand that life happens. In cases of extenuating circumstances — such as a medical emergency, bereavement, or natural disaster — cancellation fees may be waived at the clinician’s discretion.
